Another trip today to Diggle to relook at accessing the boundary along Running Hill Gate, of which the boundary follows neatly to one side, with a view to considering siting works here. 

As we walked along Running Hill Gate, we heard music. It is here we met Peter, who likes to practice his saxophone outdoors, facing towards the valley over-looking Uppermill & Diggle. Depending on the wind direction, his music can travel far. People who know it’s Peter, tell him they heard him playing when they meet up down at one of his local pubs. Hearing Peter play, by chance, resulted in us discussing how shared experience can unfold a new narrative of place.
